The lobby of New Freedom was electric with excitement as the staff eagerly awaited the arrival of distinguished guests from the Arizona State Senate. The mood was palpable as everyone buzzed with anticipation, knowing that they were about to witness something truly special.
The state senators were coming to tour the largest reentry center in the state, a place where men and women who had served their time in prison are given the tools and resources they need to successfully reintegrate into society. As the New Freedom staff stood ready to greet their guests, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that their hard work and dedication had led to this moment.

A surge of energy swept through the lobby of New Freedom as the distinguished guests from the Arizona State Senate, including Senator Anthony Kern and several other members, arrived at the facility. The air was charged with anticipation as the staff, executive leadership, and a large number of New Freedom members eagerly awaited their arrival.
As the senators made their way into the bustling lobby, the room burst into life. The excitement was palpable as everyone buzzed with anticipation, thrilled to have such esteemed visitors in their midst. The staff members beamed with pride, honored to show off the incredible work that they were doing to support the successful reentry of men and women coming out of prison.
For the New Freedom members, this was a momentous occasion, a chance to meet and greet the lawmakers who were fighting for their rights and working to create a brighter future for all. They lined the lobby, eager to show their appreciation and share their stories of hope and resilience.
As Senator Kern and the other senators made their way through the crowd, they were met with warm smiles and handshakes, a testament to the deep sense of community that had been fostered at New Freedom. For all those present, this was a day of celebration, a reminder of the power of compassion and collaboration to create real and lasting change in the world.

The bustling atrium was filled with excitement as a crowd gathered to learn about the New Freedom Project’s groundbreaking work in mentoring men and women who were reentering society from the Arizona Department of Corrections. The room hummed with energy as the New Freedom team shared their innovative approach to reentry and the powerful impact it was having on people’s lives.
At the core of the New Freedom Project’s success was their mentorship program, which begins even before individuals left the Department of Corrections. The Project’s dedicated mentorship team works tirelessly to help people change their mindsets and gain the skills and confidence they needed to succeed on the outside.










The New Freedom team eagerly continued their conversation with the state representatives, outlining the robust and comprehensive (90-Day) program. They spoke of the state-of-the-art gym facility, staffed with experienced personal trainers who work closely with each resident to help them achieve their fitness goals.
They described the New Freedom kitchen, where an executive chef prepares healthy and delicious meals, tailored to each resident’s dietary needs and preferences. They talked about the numerous vocational training programs, designed to help residents learn valuable skills and gain the confidence they need to secure meaningful employment.
In addition to these programs, the New Freedom team emphasized the importance of providing holistic support for their residents. They spoke of the intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, which offer counseling and therapy services to help residents address mental health and substance abuse issues. They highlighted the legal assistance services, which helped residents navigate complex legal issues and overcome obstacles to successful reentry.
As the New Freedom team spoke, it was clear that they were deeply committed to providing a comprehensive and personalized approach to reentry. They recognized that each resident has unique needs and challenges and are dedicated to working closely with them to provide the support they need to succeed.
For the state representatives, the visit was a powerful reminder of the importance of investing in programs like the New Freedom Project. They were deeply impressed by the level of care and attention that the team provided and inspired by the stories of hope and transformation they heard from the residents. As they ate, the crowd listened eagerly as the New Freedom team shared their success stories and talked about the impact their work is having on the lives of those they serve.
The team spoke of the impressive success rate of New Freedom graduates, and the crowd was moved by the heartfelt testimonials from Caesar Renaga and Wayne Noyce, both of whom had been mentored by the New Freedom Project, graduated from the program, and are now proud members of the New Freedom staff. Their stories were a testament to the power of mentorship and the importance of investing in programs that help break the cycle of incarceration.
As the evening drew to a close, the New Freedom team and the state representatives shared a sense of camaraderie and connection. They had come together to learn, to inspire, and to create lasting change, and it was clear that they had succeeded on all fronts.
